Cielo Costa recently built a customised app for a leading UK healthcare group which took the hard work out of a campaign to present around 9,000 employees with Easter gifts of their choice – and we delivered our solution in just six weeks.
Saving time and reducing hassle
Our client wanted to show their appreciation to their team by enabling them to select a gift from an online menu featuring a range of options from a variety of different suppliers.
Our key challenge was working to a tight deadline. However, we were confident we could swiftly deliver a digital software solution which was easy to use and ensured administration staff were not swamped with enquiries.
In addition, the healthcare organisation wanted an app that could be accessed without logging in to their computer system, as some of the gift recipients were external stakeholders.
Flexible, user-friendly solutions
Utilising Microsoft SharePoint and Azure Web Apps, we developed an app accessible from a public website. Users entered their name and an identification number to be redirected to the app, where they could browse the range and select a gift. If they changed their mind, they could alter their selection at the click of a button. Once they had made a final choice, they were emailed a corresponding voucher code.

Flexibility: the client could amend and add to the gift selection menu.
Secure multi-factor authentication: to protect personal data.
An FAQ section: to answer queries about selection and exchange.
Reusable: as the menu of gifts can be updated for the next campaign and the app reshared with staff.
