We work with industry leading technologies both from our strategic partners, like Microsoft, but also from leading open source technologies and programmes. We see technologies as the enabling components to our solutions – they serve to ensure we are deploying the best possible solutions quickly, sustainably and cost effectively.
We don’t like to be technology led if we can avoid it, rather we would look to provide the best possible solution to the challenge we are solving – but we are pragmatic and sometimes the best solution is the one that utilises an existing investment in technology – and that is fine with us – we are used to working with technical constraints in complex enterprise organisations.
Organizations use Microsoft SharePoint to create websites for collaboration or communication. You can use it as a secure place to store, organise, share, and access information from any device.
We utilise SharePoint in lots of our projects for a whole host of reasons such as data storage, document management, content management, adoption and change management. It is a hugely flexible product and commonly used by Microsoft to underpin their own solutions like Teams and Viva.
Turn ideas into organisational solutions very quickly by building custom apps that solve business challenges.
We have implemented many solutions with Power Apps and have experienced the development of the product since its inception – as such we are best placed to advise when it should and should not be used.
Connect to and visualise any data using a single platform for self-service and enterprise reporting that’s easy to use and helps you gain deeper data insight.
Providing reports and views into data driven applications and solutions is very common with our solutions and Power BI helps us to merge application data with other data sources to provide wider business context.
Microsoft Teams is a collaboration app that helps your team stay organized and have conversations—all in one place.
Teams is the hub of all our communications both internal and external and we are specialists in its implementation, ongoing management and integration with other tools and processes.
Microsoft Azure, commonly referred to as just Azure, is a cloud computing service used for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services. It provides software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and supports many different programming languages, tools, and frameworks, including both Microsoft-specific and third-party software and systems.
All our development and test environments utilise Azure and we commonly use PaaS components in solutions for our customers.
Dynamics 365 is a whole suite of business applications built over a single data model (or Dataverse.) Because they share a common data model it is easy to integrate systems and applications that contribute to or consume this data.
We utilise the Power Platform to enhance and improve Dynamics 365 applications and processes through the use of contextual applications and add-ons as well as integrations with other systems.
Work together to meet challenges effectively with Microsoft Power Platform—analyse data, build solutions, automate processes, and create virtual agents.
React is a free and open-source front-end JavaScript library for building user interfaces or UI components. React can be used as a base in the development of single-page or mobile applications.
We commonly build our front-end applications and SharePoint customisations using the REACT framework.
Node.js (Node) is an open-source, cross-platform, JavaScript runtime environment that executes code outside a web browser. Node lets developers use a “JavaScript everywhere” paradigm, unifying web-application development around a single programming language, rather than the more traditional model of having different languages for server-side and client-side scripts.
We utilise Node in many parts of our application development processes particularly for web application development and back-end processing activities.
Azure Cosmos DB is generally classified as a NoSQL database. It is not like traditional databases like SQL Server which have complex and pre-defined schemas – it is flexible and highly performant for web applications.
We commonly use Cosmos DB as the back end for our applications and solutions using either the MongoDB or SQL APIs depending upon the requirements of the project.
Microsoft SQL Server is the grandaddy of database engines and toolsets.
We still rely on this for solutions that require relational databases or where we are integrating with existing data architectures that utilise SQL Server already. We are comfortable operating with either.
Microsoft Viva is an employee experience platform that brings together communications, knowledge, learning, resources, and insights. Powered by Microsoft 365 and experienced primarily through Microsoft Teams, Viva fosters a culture where people and teams are empowered to be their best from anywhere.
We utilise Viva connections and Viva topics ourselves as part of our internal communication and knowledge management, but we are also able to advise and implement the Viva components for you.
Boost business productivity to get more done by automating organisational processes.
We use cloud flows in Power Automate extensively for automation of tasks such as updating D365 and SharePoint, sending approvals and emails, calling APIs and many other tasks.
In addition we use desktop flows for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) such as automating repetitive desktop tasks like scraping data from websites or integrating with applications that have no native API.
