Two technology consultancies had told our client that the solution they wanted was not technically possible – namely, the customised integration of their CRM platform with SharePoint to create a seamless, automated system for efficiently managing the huge volume of files associated with client deals. With a balance sheet of more than £2.5 billion in growth capital for small and mid-sized businesses, our client needed an enterprise technology company that could help them grow their business.

Hassle-free data Migration:
Automation – Using Microsoft Flow, Cielo Costa was able to fully integrate the clients Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform with SharePoint so data can be easily and automatically synced between both systems.
Standard Templates – Users fill out a standard form for each new client in the CRM system and can then transfer the data to SharePoint at the touch of a button. Client data is synchronised with a document library, storing all relevant files connected to that company’s loan or loans. The automated system checks all documents each night for relevant metadata tags, filling in any which have been missed, to make searches simpler.
Easy collaboration – In addition, users can upload files to either CRM or SharePoint, as the syncing works both ways, as well as using the full suite of SharePoint’s intuitive tools for collaboration and editing.
Fast – The project was a massive undertaking, requiring the migration and transformation of millions of documents from a network server to SharePoint. The physical migration took just 1 month to complete.
By working in partnership using an agile process, including weekly demonstrations and plenty of opportunities for client feedback, we were able to deliver a unique, innovative solution to support a company which is in turn supporting some of the UK’s most promising entrepreneurs and innovators.
